If you haven’t learned by now, everyone has a special sort of thing:

Cowboys have hats. 

Donuts have holes. 

And babies have that new-person smell.

As for Iggy McBigg of Farfetch County, it was his gum...

Thus begins one of our favorite orphaned projects -- a story where a careless mother tosses out her son's old gum, triggering an epic chain reaction. After it gets stuck to the backside of a stray cat, it begins accidentally attracting objects of increasing proportions... a clump of dry leaves, a pair of flip flops, some pigeons, and even Lola Stretchmark who runs the local bakery!

 

In the end, Iggy has the brilliant idea of "popping" the Nimbus Stickamus to save the town... but what will they do about the mess?

Iggy was written on spec for a solvent manufacturer, to be distributed as an e-book giveaway for customers who post their most horrid clean-up stories on the firm's website.  In the end, we lost the bid to one of those fancy ad agencies. (Phooey!)

These days, it sits in our portfolio as a sample of custom story work, where it's still just a little bit sticky.
